THE 1st Rasharkin Company of the Boys` Brigade held their Parents and Friends Evening in the Presbyterian Church Hall.

Parents and Friends Evening at Rasdharkin

A varied programme consisting of singing and portrayal of the Christian Armour, games, vaulting, slide show on the past year outside visits, drama on David and Goliath and a demonstration of semaphoring with flags was much enjoyed by all present.

Prize winners were as follows –

Younger Anchor Boys` for Scripture -- Sam Fenton, Tom Kirkpatrick, Stephen McIlmoyle, David Mark, Joe Wylie and Sam Wylie

Commitment and Example -- Tom Kirkpatrick and Joe Wylie

Older Anchor Boys` -- Scripture -- Andrew Mark

Creativity -- Noah Bamford and Charlie Glass

Commitment and Example -- Andrew Mark

Juniors -- The Endeavour Shield -- Robert Mark

In the Company Section, Lance Corporal Marc Moody was presented with The President`s Badge, the second highest award that can be gained in the Boys` Brigade.
