Paris massacre: Books of condolence to be opened across the Borough

Books of condolence have been opened across the Borough following the weekend events in Paris.

Mayor of Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council, Councillor Michelle Knight McQuillan said, “The events that unfolded in Paris on Friday evening have left us all shocked and troubled.

“In order to give the people of the Borough an opportunity to express their heartfelt sympathies to the victims of the Paris massacre, books of condolence will be opened in the Borough offices at Coleraine Town Hall, in Ballymoney Town Hall, in the Council Offices in Limavady, and at Sheskburn House, Ballycastle.”

The Mayor is also sending messages of support to the civic leadership of Councils’ twinned areas in France of Vanves, Vigneux-sur-Seine (suburbs of Paris), La Roche-sur-Yon, and Pourieres.
