The French Honorary Consul, Regine McCullough received the books, formally recording the numerous expressions of sympathy, during a meeting organised by Mid and East Antrim Mayor, Councillor Billy Ashe, in his parlour at Carrickfergus Town Hall.

Speaking after the event, which was also attended by the Mayors of Ards and North Down, Causeway Coast and Glens and Lisburn & Castlereagh, Cllr Hogg commented: “It was very important for me to be able to meet the French Honorary Consul, Regine McCullough and be able to offer my own personal condolences for the bereaved in this horrific terrorist attack, as well as those of the whole borough of Antrim and Newtownabbey.”
