Park ranger kicked to the ground in Castle Gardens attack

A PARK ranger in Lisburn has been kicked to the ground and assaulted after challenging four men who were damaging a gate in Castle Gardens.

The assault happened on 29th February after the victim had given chase to four males who were damaging the gate.

When he told the males to leave the park he was attacked and kicked to the ground.

He sustained cuts and grazes and bruising to his head and back.

One of the attackers is described as 5ft 9 inches tall, of a slim build, clean shaven with rosy cheeks, short black hair, and wearing mechanics overalls and black boots. He was also carrying an orange backpack.

The other emn involved were also described as wearing blue mechanics overalls and were approximately 18-19 years old. One was plumpish with blonde short wavy hair.
