Parked car badly damaged

Police are appealing for information following a criminal damage incident to a parked vehicle, that occurred between 1pm and 2.30pm on Sunday March 13, in Crumlin.

A white Audi motor vehicle was damaged while parked on a laneway around a quarter of a mile outside Crumlin off the Lurgan Road.

The police in Antrim are looking for anyone who may have have seen anything suspicious in the area at that time to contact them.

Police believe the vehicle and suspects would have been clearly visible from the road.

The vehicle suffered what police described as ‘significant’ damage to the driver’s side which they believe may have been a failed attempt to steal it.

Police in Antrim who are investigating the incident would like to hear from anyone with any information regarding this incident or any passersby who may have noticed the vehicle to get in contact with Constable Richard Ash.Alternatively, they can call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
