The Linenbridge is a day centre for 66 people with both learning and physical disabilities based on the site of Banbridge Health and Care Centre.

Users are increasingly facing difficulties accessing the centre, due to cars parked along the pavements outside on Meeting House Road.

Miceal Crilly, Assistant Director of Disability Services for the Trust explains: “Whilst many of our service users have mobility issues and are wheelchair users, they greatly enjoy the independence of coming to and from the centre. However, due to pathways being obstructed, they are being forced on to the road, which is inconvenient and dangerous.

“We appreciate that parking can be a challenge and are looking for ways to manage traffic congestion.”
