Parking warning

The Southern Health and Social Care Trust is appealing for drivers to respect designated disabled car parking spaces at Craigavon and Daisy Hill Hospital sites.

Staff are claiming that disabled spaces and drop-off points and emergency spaces on both sites are being abused despite porters applying warning stickers on car window screens.

Esther Gishkori, Director for Acute Services at the Southern Health and Social Care Trust said: “Demands on our services continually increase and our hospitals are so busy

“We are looking for ways to manage traffic congestion.

“I appeal to people who do not have a blue badge to have more consideration by parking further away.”
