Parkview celebrates ‘outstanding’ report
Parkview School provides education for pupils from three to 19 years of age with severe learning difficulties.
The inspection which took place in May focused on the pupils’ achievements and standards; the quality of provision for learning; the quality of leadership and management, including the school’s processes for self-evaluation leading to improvement.

The pupils achieve good standards in behaviour, social and independent living skills.
The quality of teaching overall is good and better, including highly skilled support for the youngest pupils, the pupils following vocational programmes in the Extended Education Centre, and those pupils with challenging behaviour.
The Principal, Mr James Curran, was delighted when the school recently received the inspectors’ report which highly praised the standards of care in the school and the good quality teaching and learning.
