A jump, which two Parachute Regiment friends do up to 50 times a year, was about to take place. They were part of a six-man team jumping from a PAC 750 aircraft. Within a moment of the jump, a full scale and frightening drama unfolded as anxious spectators looked on from the ground.

Thankfully, one of the divers was able to manoeuvre his parachute into position, so that his friend could grab hold of it. He was then able to guide both of them to the safety of the town’s Queen’s Dock where they landed safely in the water.

One day the followers of Jesus found themselves in a very frightening situation as they crossed the Sea of Galilee. He was asleep on a cushion while the disciples were frantic with fear. They woke him and said to him: “Teacher, do you not care that we are perishing?”
