The Patient and Client Council is holding a public roadshow in Northern Regional College, Magherafelt, this week to give people the opportunity to ask leaders and decision makers about local and regional Health and Social Care services.

The event on Wednesday (November 13), is the fourth in a series of six roadshows the Patient and Client Council is organising throughout Northern Ireland.

Chief Executive, Maeve Hully says, “It’s vital the people of Magherafelt and surrounding Northern area have their voices heard on health and social care. We all depend on and avail of our health services and the roadshows are a good opportunity to get involved.”

Maeve adds, “We ran a series of roadshows in 2012 that were attended by over 500 service users and carers. We want to provide more opportunities for the public to engage with our leaders and decision makers so we encourage you to come along.”

The panel for the event will be made up of representatives from the Department of Health, Social Services and Public Safety, the Health and Social Care Board, the Northern Health and Social Care Trust and the Local Commissioning Group.

Registration and refreshments will be from 6:30pm. Event will begin at 7:00pm sharp and end at 8:30pm. Places are limited so RSVP is essential.
