Aidan Devine also said people within a three to four mile radius of Stranagalwilly, where Patrick was murdered, know exactly what happened to him.

People out there knows what happened,” said Mr Devine. “In the local community within a three to four mile radius.”

Mr Devine called for people to come forward whilst offering a £50k reward for information to mark the 10th anniversary of his brother’s death.

“It’s destroyed our family. I’ve a sister Claire who died in 2007 of a broekn heart,” he said.

“My father John died in 2008 with no closure in the case and now my mother is 81-years of age. There’s still no closure and it’s just wrecking the family. I would like closure of it now if possible. I don’t want it to go on any longer,” he said.

Patrick’s brother-in-law, Emmet McShane, echoed these sentiments and called specifically for people in the Park and Craigbane areas to come forward.
