Patrols tackle antisocial behaviour

POLICE have said they are working hard to tackle antisocial behaviour in the area.

A number of targeted patrols have been deployed to deal with incidents.

One such patrol took place on the Black Paths in central Craigavon a fortnight ago on Saturday, August 28.

As a consequence an 18-year-old local man was reported to PPS for disorderly behaviour following an altercation with police and a 22-year-old man was reported to PPS for assault on police and obstructing police.

A quantity of alcohol was also disposed of at the scene.

Police in Craigavon advised members of the public they will continue to take a zero tolerance approach to those involved in anti social behaviour and are asking the community for their assistance by reporting any incidents to police immediately.
