Paula cooks up Go Women treat

Female entrepreneurs are invited to attend Causeway Enterprise Agency's joint celebration of International Women's Day and NI's Year of Food and Drink 2016.

The special Go Women event will take place at Portstewart Golf Club on Thursday and will be compered by Sarah Travers, with a cookery demonstration and keynote address from top chef Paula McIntyre.

A regular contributor on BBC’s Radio Ulster, award-winning restaurateur Paula is one of the country’s best known chefs, and has built up a successful career in the food industry.

From publishing a book, to appearing as guest chef on multiple TV programmes, contributing to local media, and providing fine dining and catering services, Paula is a familiar voice on Radio Ulster, where she’s been co-hosting the weekly Saturday Magazine show with John Toal for more than a decade.

Go Women guests can subsequently look forward to her cookery demonstration, as well as her keynote address, when she’ll share more about her experiences in the business world.

The event, now in its 12th year, will include a light supper upon arrival, with plenty of time fornetworking. Hosted by Sarah Travers, the evening will also feature a panel discussion with local women from the food and drinks industry. These include Geri Martin ofThe Chocolate Manor, Debbie Caskey of Strandeen B&B, Jacquelyn Stewart from Squeeze Wheatgrass and Heather Boyle from Slice of Heaven.
