Peace building trip to Armagh for local churches

MEMBERS of First Coleraine and St Malachy's churches took part in a peace building visit to Armagh recently.

The initiative was funded by the EU’s Peace III programme.

En route, the group stopped at First Cookstown Presbyterian Church for refreshments served by the Presbyterian Women's Group

In Armagh City, the group had guided tours of both St Patrick's Catholic Cathedral and St Patrick's Church of Ireland Cathedral, after which a delicious lunch was shared in the most convivial surroundings of the City Hotel, Armagh.

St Malachy's Bridge Builders group and First Coleraine's Peace group wish to acknowledge the contribution made to this programme from the EU's PEACE III programme, which is managed for the Special EU Programme's Body by the North East PEACE III Partnership.
