Peace event on Saturday

A FUN FILLED day of family entertainments for everyone is guaranteed at ‘Celebrating Peace in the Park’ in the People’s Park this Saturday.

The line up includes live music from the popular Chevy’s Showband, local group Bar Room Buddies and Traditional Irish Music as well as performances from IJS Jump Stylers, Irish Dancing and local DJ Paul Dempster, who will be performing a mix of the latest hits and golden oldies.

In addition there will be face painting, balloon modeling and bouncy castle activities for younger children as well as dancing and health/well being demonstrations from local fitness groups.

Large numbers are anticipated on the day, therefore visitors are asked to make note of the following car parking arrangements which have been put in place for this event:

Very limited car parking facilities are available at the Peoples Park. Overspill car parking will be available at High Kirk Church Car Park (directly opposite People’s Park Doury Road side) and Ballyloughan Church Car Park (Doury Road, opposite Dunclug College) on a first come first served basis.

Disabled Parking for Blue Badge holders only will be available at the People’s Park car park adjacent to Ballymena Primary School (entrance can be gained from Ballymoney Road – this will be signed on the day).
