Peacock calls for action on Tullaghans Road
Sinn Féin Council candidate Leanne Peacock has called on Roads Service to take action on what she has described as “an extremely dangerous piece of road” on the Tullaghans Road in Rasharkin.
Miss Peacock said: “This issue has been repeatedly raised by residents to myself and my colleagues, we in turn have repeatedly raised it with Roads Service.
“Although I would welcome the fact that warning signage has been placed at the site on Tullaghans Road I have been informed by residents that this is simply not enough, the problem persists.
“I have spoken to Roads Service about this issue and I am hopeful that further action will be taken to make this stretch of road safer for its users in the near future.”
