Peacock welcomes resolution to flooding on Lisheeghan Lane
Sinn Féin local council candidate Leanne Peacock has welcomed the completion of works at Lisheeghan Lane, just outside Rasharkin resolving a long standing flooding issue.
Speaking on the issue Miss Peacock said: “I was contacted by a local resident about flooding on Lisheeghan Lane which was allowing water to lie and cause damage to private lanes and driveways.
“I am pleased that work has now been completed and drains have been installed to divert water flow providing a resolution to the flooding issue. I welcome Roads Services intervention on this issue and the swift completion of the works.”
