Pedestrian crossing for Church Street?
A PEDESTRIAN crossing at Church Street in Cookstown may soon become a reality, providing people with an easier means of getting across the busy road.
Cookstown District Council has been approached by Canon Porteus of Derryloran Parish Church in relation to the provision of a pedestrian crossing at Church Street in the town.
And Roads Service has agreed to carry out a traffic survey to gauge its suitability.
Cookstown District Council heard details of the request last Tuesday night.
