Penalty points after driving ‘old car’

Liam Jackson (36), Lake Street, Lurgan, was also fined £200.

The court heard that he was seen while driving on the M12 and police inquiries revealed his insurance had been cancelled.

A barrister for the defendant said this was an old car and was parked on his driveway at home.

She added that it was his intention to insure it and he had only driven for a day or two when he was stopped.
