Pension advice from local CAB office
Lisburn Citizens Advice Bureau is reminding local people that on April 6, 2015 new pension reforms came into effect which gave people over 55 the opportunity to decide what they do with their defined contribution pension pot.
Pension Wise is a new free and impartial government guidance service set up to help people understand their pension options.
Peter Gallagher, Pension Wise Guidance Specialist at Lisbrun CAB said: “Good guidance is a crucial step towards a financially stable retirement. We have a strong history of helping people across Northern Ireland. We already support people with many of the issues affecting retirement so we’re pleased to be providing pension guidance through the Pension Wise service.”
