Pension scheme committee role for Carrickfergus man
A Carrickfergus man has been reappointed to the Northern Ireland Local Government Officers’ Superannuation Committee.
Peter McMurray is a representative of an employee organisation on NILGOSC, which plays an important role in the effective administration and management of the pension scheme for district councils in Northern Ireland.
Branch secretary for GMB Education, Mr McMurray has brought a lifetime of trades union experience to bear in his first term of office at NILGOSC.
His reappointment, which will run until September 2019, was one of four announced by Environment Minister Mark H Durkan.
