“There is always heavy traffic on this road and somebody must have seen something.”

He continued: “Someone removed the bricks and mortar off the roadway but the driver of the vehicle involved did not report damage to anyone.

“I am a 78 years-old pensioner and once again I will have to pay for the rebuilding of my wall.

“Somebody is aware of who this offender is and they should be held to account.”

David who has lived at his home for 35 years said the situation is “depressing.”

He added: “The driver would have known they hit the wall and they didn’t have the decency to stop and say sorry.

It’s depressing as this is the ninth time the wall has been hit in 30 years and while the damage wasn’t as bad as it has been previously it is still annoying.” David is appealing to anyone who witnessed the wall being hit to contact police.
