Pensioner pronounced dead at scene of accident in Dungannon

Roads have now re-opened at Granville Industrial Estate following a road traffic collision on the slip road leading from the A4, Woodlough Road, Dungannon.

Inspector David Nixon said: “A man, aged in his 80’s, was pronounced dead at the scene.

“An investigation is currently ongoing into the circumstances surrounding the collision and a post mortem examination is due to be carried out to determine the cause of death.”

Any witnesses to the collision are asked to contact police in Dungannon on 101.
