Pensioner sent for trial on child sex charges
A PENSIONER has been sent for trial on a series of sex charges involving two young girls.
The 73-year-old, who cannot be named, faces eight counts of rape and 10 of indecent assault against one of the girls.
The alleged offences date back almost 40 years and span a five year period.
The man was returned for trial, on £500 bail, to Londonderry Crown Court, for arraignment on October 24 when he appeared at Magherafelt Magistrates Court today.
