Pensioner sent for trial on child sex charges at Magherafelt court
A PENSIONER has been sent for trial on a series of sex charges involving two young girls.
The 73-year-old, who cannot be named, faces eight counts of rape and 10 of indecent assault against one of the girls. The alleged offences date back almost 40 years and span a five-year period. He was released on bail of £500 at Magherafelt Court until his trial on Oct 24.
