Pensioner ‘very shaken’ after criminal damage caused to home


It is understood the cone was thrown through her living room window on Coronation Road at approximately 9.50pm.
Appealing for information, a PSNI spokesperson said: “I along with NPT officers have been out carrying out foot patrols of the area, speaking to residents but have not identified a suspect.

Hide Ad“It does appear that a short distance away on the Victoria Road there are works being carried out on the footpath. Residents have confirmed that a group of young people were playing with the plastic barriers and cones at approximately 9.30pm.
“I believe the cone used was from this area, but nothing has been captured on any CCTV in the immediate area that I have been able to check.”
They added: “I am appealing for any information that may identify the suspect.
“The victim just wants to offer the suspect the opportunity to apologise and pay for the damage.
