People not subsidising political booze-ups
FOYLE MLA Pat Ramsey has reassured Traditional Unionist Voice (TUV) MLA Jim Allister that the people of Northern Ireland are not subsidising political booze-ups at Stormont.
The local SDLP MLA is a member of the Assembly Commission and was asked by Mr Allister whether “the price of alcohol was subsidised in Parliament Buildings; and if so, to what extent and for what reason.”
Mr Ramsey reassured the TUV leader: “Alcohol sold in Parliament Buildings is priced in line with Recommended Retail Prices (RRP) and therefore the price is not subsidised.”
