21 energetic photos as hundreds take part in 2026 Craigavon Lake Run

A great turnout of athletes, fun runners and families laced up their running shoes for the annual Craigavon Lake Run on Wednesday evening.

Participants were able to choose from a 1K Family Fun Run, 5K, 10K or 10K wheelchair races, starting from South Lake Leisure Centre and following the scenic loop around the Craigavon Lakes.

Organised by ABC Borough Council, the event was sponsored by Rushmere Shopping Centre, McKeever Sports, Lidl, Tesco, Eurospar and Lake Road Centra.

Photographer Tony Hendron caught up with some of those taking part.
