5. Leah McFall
Singer-songwriter Leah McFall from Newtownabbey, made her way to the final of The Voice in 2013, finishing in second place. Her incredible performances throughout the series stunned the judges and audience consistently, with two of her covers making it to the charts before she even reached the final. Following her success on The Voice, mentor Will.i.am took Leah onto his new projects, new versions of songs and her debut performance at Wireless Festival. 6. Alice LA
Alice LA is a very versatile artist, often releasing pop music. She also has a background in Multi-Media skills, which allows her image as a musician to stand out, as she uses her experimental visuals within her music. With very upbeat and high energy live performances, she’s grown her audience. Her career began when she graduated from the Music Potential programme with Capital XTRA, through her connection to the Oh Yeah Music Centre in Belfast. Since then Alice has appeared at many festivals across Ireland, had a sold-out show in KOKO Camden as part of the Captial Xtra night and has a lot of support from radio stations.
