Appointments no longer needed for Bruslee Recycling Centre

Antrim and Newtownabbey residents will no longer need to book an appointment for three of the borough’s recycling centres.

From today, (Thursday), local residents will no longer need to book an appointment for Bruslee, Craigmore and Newpark Recycling Centres.

Anyone wishing to use these centres is asked to report directly to the recycling centres, ensuring they bring photographic ID as proof of residency in the borough.

A spokesperson for the local authority said: “Bookings must still be made for Crumlin and O’Neill Road Recycling Centres and you should only report to the centre at your allocated appointment time.

“At present, we can only accept general household waste, garden waste, cardboard and timber (maximum of six bags).”
