‘Bear-y’ good news as famous faces return to Ballymena!

The popular Ballymena Bears - who have had a makeover during their well-earned break - will soon be on display at key locations around the town centre.

Keep your eyes peeled for the bear-y special visitors when you’re next in Ballymena and if you fancy taking a selfie with these local celebrities, remember to do so while adhering to the guidelines on social distancing and protecting public health. The bears have been glammed up for their return to public life, with a special tribute to our NHS and keyworker heroes who have been keeping us all safe during the Coronavirus lockdown. Thanks to the creative flair of Council Parks Staff, particularly expert propagator William Dickson and colleague Andrew Clarke, the Ballymena Bears are ready to greet their fans.
