Four stores in County Tyrone have been commended for excellence at the Musgrave Northern Ireland ‘Store of the Year Awards’.

The Musgrave awards ceremony celebrates and recognises the achievements, hard work and dedication of its retail partners across the SuperValu, Centra and MACE brands.

Taking home awards were Curry’s Centra Curr Road in Beragh which picked up the silver in the Centra high convenience Store of the Year category, while Dolan’s Mace Gortin Road in Omagh was also awarded silver in the Mace Large Format Store of the Year category.

In Sion Mills, Corry’s Mace was awarded Fundraiser of the Year for its support of Northern Ireland Chest Heart and Stroke after raising a fantastic £2,348 during 2024. In Aughnacloy, Daly’s SuperValu received the LRQA award which recognises the highest standards in food quality and safety.

Picking up the silver award for Mace Large Format Store of the Year were the team from Mace Gortin Road in Omagh, with owner Keith Dolan (far right).

Trevor Magill, Managing Director of Musgrave Northern Ireland said: “The Musgrave Store of the Year awards provide us the opportunity to acknowledge and celebrate the achievements, hard work and dedication of our retail partners, across our three brands.

The awards ceremony was hosted by radio presenter and DJ Pete Snodden last Friday night in The Slieve Donard Hotel. Finalists are selected following several rigorous rounds of performance and standards audits, with the highest accolade being ‘Store of the Year’.

Musgrave Store of the Year Winners

Accepting the LRQA award which recognises the highest standards in food quality and safety on behalf of SuperValu Daly’s Aughnacloy is SuperValu regional manager Colum Durey who is joined by Joanne Bertenshaw from Musgrave’s Food Quality and Safety Team and awards host Pete Snodden.
