Coronavirus: Disability football tournament postponed in Newtownabbey

The event had been due to take place on Sunday, March 15 at the Threemilewater Playing Fields.

The tournament had been organised by Rathcoole-based community group, RATH.

Announcing the event had been postponed, a RATH spokesperson said: “Due to the coronavirus outbreak we have had to postpone this Sunday’s football event.

“Many thanks to the WheelWorks and Peace IV Programme Antrim and Newtownabbey for their understanding on this matter.

“We will assess the situation and hopefully get the go ahead to reschedule in a few weeks.”
