Coronavirus: Royal Black Preceptory members donate money for NHS scrubs

Members of the Royal Black Institution in Ballyclare have made a generous donation to help the production of scrubs for the National Health Service.

Ballyclare RBDC No 6 (with the kind support of the nine private preceptories within the district) have donated £750 to the Co Antrim Grand Black Chapter’s appeal for donations to purchase fabric to make scrubs for the NHS.

The Ballyclare district includes preceptories in Doagh, Hydepark, Ballyclare, Ballycraigy, Carntall, Ballyboley, Templepatrick, Ballyeaston and Tildarg.

The scrubs are being made by Village Blinds (Ballymena) which is owned by he Assistant Sovereign Grand Master of the Royal Black Institution, Rt Wors Sir Kt Harold McCloy ASGM.
