Damage to flower planters 'wanton vandalism'
The Mayor of Mid and East Antrim Borough Council has condemned the vandalism caused to flower planters in Carrickfergus over the weekend.
Cllr Peter Johnston said: “This is a senseless crime against the whole community.
“These acts of wanton vandalism and anti-social behaviour are despicable and unacceptable, and I would urge the small minority responsible to take a step back and reconsider their actions.
“If anyone has any information about this, I would encourage them to report it to the police on 101.”
