Deaths in the local community

The death has occurred of Meta Smyth, who passed away peacefully on May 28th in hospital.

Meta was the dearly beloved wife of Donal, and much loved mother of Caroline, Linda, Sharon and David.

The funeral was held on Sunday, from her late residence in Lurgan to St Peter’s Church, followed by interment in St Colman’s Cemetery.

Very deeply regretted by her loving husband; daughters; son; sons-in-law Greg, Noel and Dermott; daughter-in-law Joanne; grandchildren Richard, Belinda, Claudia, Penny and Pippa; sisters Alice and Isobel, and family circle.

BRIAN EDWARD MALCOMSON

Brian Malcomson died peacefully in hospital on May 30th.

Brian was the much loved husband of Margaret, and devoted father of Lynda, Julie and Ruth.

The funeral took place on Tuesday in Waringstown Presbyterian Church, followed by interment in the adjoining burying ground.

Brian will be lovingly remembered by Margaret; Lynda and Paul; Julie and Steve; Ruth and James; his adored grandchildren, and entire family circle.
