Donations sought in bid to raise funds for sensory items

A Larne woman is seeking donations of items in a bid to raise funds for local autism groups.

Samantha Hogg has previously helped generate thousands of pounds for the purchase of sensory items for Larne High School autism unit, NAS (National Autistic Society) Larne and Carrick, Larne Adult Centre, and Larne Archery Club.

She is currently running a fundraising drive for Moyle Primary School.

“I started fundraising as I have two children who both have autism, and I know the funding isn’t there for the children/adults who needs sensory items,” Samantha said.

“I am seeking used or new clothing, kids’ toys, small bric-a-brac, small household items; really just any item that can be used to make a small profit to buy sensory material.”
