Duality Healthcare partners with Gordons Chemists to open virtual GP hubs in Rathcoole, Lisburn, Kikeel and Enniskillen

A landmark partnership has been announced between Gordons Chemists and Duality Healthcare to bring enhanced virtual and face-to-face GP services to communities across Northern Ireland.

The new collaboration – the first of its kind between a pharmacy chain and a private healthcare provider in Northern Ireland – will see Duality opening virtual GP hubs in Gordons Chemists in Rathcoole, Kilkeel, Lisburn and Enniskillen as the first phase of a Province-wide rollout.

The move aims to mark a significant step forward in improving access to high-quality, flexible healthcare options.

The Duality virtual GP hubs in Gordons Chemists will allow for private virtual consultations with a Duality clinician, with prescriptions instantly available for collection at the Gordons Chemists counter.

Duality will also open a GP clinic in Gordons Chemists on Waterloo Place in Derry / Londonderry early in December 2025, offering a full range of face-to-face GP services.

The partnership will see Duality’s experienced GP team working across Gordons Chemists locations to provide integrated medical services, offering patients the convenience of same-day appointments, virtual consultations, and direct referral pathways.

Both organisations said that combining their strengths, communities and patients will benefit from a ‘seamless, locally accessible health service tailored to modern needs’.

The move increases fast-growing Duality Healthcare’s presence around Northern Ireland, adding to clinics in Newry, Omagh and Ballymena. Their opening is part of multi-million-pound investment that is expected to see even more locations added in 2026.
