East Antrim Village Renewal Projects continue to progress towards completion

Mid and East Antrim Borough Council has announced that work is continuing throughout the borough on a number of Village Renewal Projects.

The Village Renewal Scheme is funded through the Department of Agriculture, Environment and Rural Affairs (DAERA).

In Ballystrudder work is continuing on a community garden.

The work is due to complete before the end of the summer.

Mid and East Antrim Borough Council have been developing the Village Renewal Programme for over two years and 18 villages in total will benefit from £2.5 million of funding.

The programme is funded by council and DAERA with support from the European Agriculture Fund for Rural Development.
