Members were welcomed to the February meeting by president Ann Pinkterton, with a glass of hot apple punch and heart-shaped cheese biscuits
Institute members Joan, Meta, Muriel and Elsie shared their favourite pudding recipes. Diets forgotten we all enjoyed sampling them with our supper.
Ann, dressed for the occasion, recited a humorous verse and a floral art demonstration by Irene was thoroughly enjoyed by all. Her three arrangments were auctioned at the end of the meeting. A short quiz was held to select our team for the area competition and the members night was brought to an end singing old fashioned love songs.
