Elderly woman loses ‘considerable sum of money’ in Rathcoole

Police in Newtownabbey have issued an appeal on social media in a bid to locate a large amount of money for a pensioner.

A PSNI spokesperson said: “A considerable sum of money was lost on Wednesday, December 2 around the area of The Post Office in The Diamond, Rathcoole by an elderly lady.

“If you have located this sum of money, please contact police on 101 and quote incident number 612 – 041220.”
