Festive holiday arrangements for bin collections in Mid Ulster District Council area
Mid Ulster District Council has announced details of arrangements for the Christmas and New Year holiday period.
There will be no bin collections on Christmas Day, Thursday, December 25. Bins due to be collected on this day will instead be collected on Saturday, December 20.
There will be no bin collections on Boxing Day, Friday, December 26. Bins due to be collected on this day will instead be collected on Saturday, December 27.
There will be no bin collections on New Year's Day, Thursday, January 1, 2026. Bins due to be collected on this day will instead be collected on Saturday January 3.
All other bin collections remain as normal. Remember to leave bins at the kerb by 7.30am.
All recycling centres will be closed on Christmas Day, Thursday December 25, Boxing Day, Friday December 26, Monday December 29 and New Year's Day, Thursday January 1 (all recycling centres will be open as normal on Saturday December 27).
All leisure and recreation facilities will be closed on Christmas Day, Thursday December 25, Boxing Day, Friday December 26, Saturday December 27 and New Year's Day, Thursday January 1.
Council offices will be closed on Christmas Day, Thursday December 25, Boxing Day, Friday December 26, Monday December 29, Tuesday December 30, Wednesday December 31 and Thursday January 1.
All staffed sites will be closed on Christmas Day, Thursday December 25, Boxing Day, Friday December 26, Saturday December 27 and New Year's Day, Thursday January 1.
Registration offices will be closed on Christmas Day, Thursday December 25, Boxing Day, Friday December 26, Monday December 29, Tuesday December 30, Wednesday December 31 and Thursday January 1.
