Former Whitehouse Presbyterian minister supports projects in Sierra Leone

Retired Presbyterian minister and current chair of Christian Aid Ireland, Reverend Dr Liz Hughes recently helped communities in Sierra Leone.

Rev Hughes is the former minister of Whitehouse Presbyterian Church and is currently a member of Craigavon Presbyterian Church.

During her nine-day visit, Liz saw Christian Aid projects which help marginalised people in Sierra Leone better access health care, boost incomes, empower women and reduce violence between cattle herders and crop farmers.

Rev Hughes supported people in Bayama and Golahun.
