Fundraiser launched to support three daughters of Czech rider Kamil Holan killed at NW200
The family and friends of the Czech rider who was killed in this year’s North West 200 have launched a fundraiser to support his three daughters.
48-year-old Kamil Holan died during an incident on Thursday, May 7.

Road Racing Ireland said: “The road racing community has always stood together in difficult moments.
"Following the tragic loss of Czech road racer Kamil Holán at the 2026 North West 200, a fundraiser has now been launched to support his three daughters during an incredibly difficult time.

"Kamil was a hugely respected and popular figure across the roads scene, known for his passion, determination and love for the sport. Fans from across Ireland, the UK, Czech Republic and beyond have already begun showing their support.”
The fundraising page says: “We are starting a fundraiser as a family and close friends after the tragic death of Kamil Holán (after an accident during the North West 200 race in Northern Ireland), who was everything, but most importantly the father of three daughters, who are now left alone with their mother and now a single parent.
"Kamil was a prominent figure in the Czech road racing scene and for many fans a symbol of courage, passion and incredible determination. He left everything on the track and motorsport was his life. But for his loved ones he was far from just a racer.
"As a father, Kamil was an important part of the daily lives of all his daughters. He was a loving and present dad who supported, motivated, and was proud of his daughters.
"We want to help primarily Kamil Holán's three daughters.
"They live in Prague and are just on the threshold of adulthood. They will need support, encouragement, and financial security for many years to come in their studies, sports, and daily activities. With the tragic loss of their father, they lost not only a beloved parent, but also an important support they could rely on.
“If you knew Kamil personally, watched his races, or simply supported him, you can support the most valuable thing he left behind - his daughters.”
To date, 1,280,000 Czech Koruna or £45,800 has been raised. Anyone wishing to donate can do so via this LINK
