“I fear that Covid-19 will further increase anxiety for many of us in the workplace, and experts warn a sizable minority could be left with mental health problems that outlast the pandemic.

“We at GES have carefully chosen AWARE to provide the professional support to help prevent the mental health problem becoming a more serious concern for our employees.

“It’s important than none of us suffer in silence and that there is a path for all of us to seek professional help and advice first-hand. Thanks to the help of AWARE and especially to all our employees for their meaningful and kind contribution.”

Lisa Abell-Farrelly of AWARE added: “It has been great to work with all at GES Group over the past year and we are delighted to have received this incredible amount from the GES virtual COMMS meeting.

“After a difficult year due to Covid-19, the funds raised will enable AWARE to continue to support those affected by depression, anxiety and bipolar disorder through our support services and well-being programmes. Thank you to all involved for the continued support.”
