George and Emeline celebrate 60 years of wedded bliss amid latest lockdown

Their loving family of Jennifer, David, Paul, Avril and Dean (in Australia) sent their best wishes along with those of their many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

The family said: “We are sorry because of Covid we haven’t been able to celebrate this very special occasion and thanks to everyone for sending cards.”

It’s the second milstone the family has been unable to mark properly.

Last Spring George was to celebrate his 80th birthday with a special party but it had to be cancelled with the introduction of the first lockdown in March of last year.

On this latest anniversary the family had a special message for George and Emeline: “We wish them much happiness and good health on their big day and in their years ahead together.”
