Owner Mariana Danci and her husband Florin Stefan opened the bakery at Church St, Portadown and already their delightful pastries and artful bakes are pulling in the customers.
What appears to be a real apple morphs into a delicious and mouth-watering mousse with softly cooked sweet apple bites inside. Similarly a pear and the amount of talent and work to create such beautiful and artistic creations looks incredible.
Mariana said: “We specialise in elegant, high-quality creations made with premium ingredients, including our signature viral fruit cakes, indulgent chocolate desserts, rich cheesecakes, delicate pastries, and an ever-changing selection of beautifully crafted layer cakes.

"But beyond the products themselves, what matters most to us is the experience, giving people in Portadown a place to treat themselves, celebrate life’s moments, or simply take a break from their day.”
"Artisan Dessert Studio has been created as more than just a bakery, it’s a space designed for people to come together, relax, and enjoy quality time.
"Our goal is to bring something unique and special to the local food scene while creating a warm, welcoming space for the community,” she said.
“Customers can relax in our cosy studio or grab something to go, with a selection of freshly brewed coffee, specialty hot drinks, and soft drinks available.

"As a family-run business, this has been a real passion project for us,” she said.
The couple, originally from Romania, have been living in the Portadown area for the last 15 years. Florin revealed he has worked in apple orchards and meat factories. However Mariana’s passion for baking was clear and the used their own personal finances to invest in the new business.
With some of the children still at school locally and eldest daughter Maria studying for the bar in Manchester having graduated in law, they felt the time was right to set up their own business and share the passion for baking.
