In pictures: Ballymena hosts second Pride parade

Following a Pride morning ‘connection, education and visibility’ event in the Braid Arts Centre, the colourful Pride parade made its way through the town centre to Greenvale Street.

A number of people from religious organisations also turned out holding placards as the parade passed by.

Alliance MLA Danny Donnelly praised the Pride event.

"Great afternoon in Ballymena watching the Mid and East Antrim Pride march! Very positive reception as the parade came through the town centre!” he posted on social media.
