In pictures: Hitting the dancefloor in Lurgan for Positive Ageing Month

The feel-good factor of Positive Ageing Month is continuing right across the ABC Borough during October, as demonstrated at the Tea Dance held at the Brownlow Hub in Lurgan.

Classes and events - which are being held in venues in Armagh, Portadown, Lurgan, Banbridge, Dromore as well as in our local villages and rural centres - are a wonderful opportunity to make new connections, get active or discover new hobbies.

Sports, exercise, arts, entertainment, health, cooking, crafts and the ever popular series of tea dances, are all featured in this month-long celebration of life for the over-50s.

There are also events which focus on health, safety and the support services available for older people in our community.

More details are available of the full programme of events for Positive Ageing Month on the ABC Seniors Newsletter which you can receive by calling Stephanie Rock, who is the Age Friendly Officer for the ABC Borough on 07825 010630 or emailing [email protected] or by visiting the Positive Ageing Month webpage on the council website - www.armaghbanbridgecraigavon.gov.uk/PAM
