Festivities began on Saturday morning with a colourful, community-led parade through the town centre, followed by a free fun-filled event for all ages in People’s Park.
The Ballymena 400 Celebration Parade brought community, youth groups and sports organisations together in a colourful procession of music, creativity and shared pride.
The celebration continued in People’s Park with a packed schedule of entertainment and activities for all ages.
Mayor of Mid and East Antrim, Councillor Jackson Minford said: “Together we are celebrating 400 years of Ballymena. The town we call home has been shaped by four centuries of resilience, innovation, and community spirit.
"This anniversary is not just a marker of time - it is a tribute to the generations of people whose hard work, generosity, and civic pride have shaped Ballymena into the place we know and love. Let’s look forward to the chapters still to be written.”
Mid and East Antrim Borough Council has thanked everyone who helped make the celebrations such a success.
